Crochet – Next Steps for New Beginners Workshop – Saturday 14 November 2026 (10am – 1pm) Ilkley

Ready to take your crochet beyond the basics?

This crochet workshop is for those who have mastered the basics (chain, double & treble) and can hold their work, ready to upskill.

If you’ve got to grips with the fundamentals—or you’re just a little rusty and need a refresher—this friendly, small-group class will help you build confidence and learn new skills.

With expert tutor Alex Peel, you’ll explore a range of new stitches, demystify pattern reading, and work from a selection of projects tailored to different ability levels. As you progress, you’ll develop the skills and confidence to tackle more ambitious crochet patterns on your own.

With just 8 places available, you’ll get plenty of individual support, guidance, and help overcoming any sticking points. Perfect for anyone who has found online tutorials frustrating and wants the benefits of hands-on, face-to-face tuition.

All materials included.

Level: this class is the next step up for beginners, for those whose skills are rusty and for anyone wanting to take their basic crochet to the next level.

Please kindly note:

You’re welcome to cancel your booking up to 14 days before the workshop date. If you need to cancel after that time, we’re unable to offer a refund or move your booking. However, we’d be happy to transfer your place to someone else of your choosing at no additional cost.
