Entrelac Knitting – Saturday 16 November 2024 (2-5pm) Ilkley

Entrelac Knitting gives the effect of a knitted patchwork.

This technique creates lots of blocks that look like interwoven diamonds that are joined together as you knit. Once mastered, you can use this method to produce finished items that will astound all your friends (knitters or non-knitters).

One word of warning – this can become addictive!!

During the workshop you will practise the techniques needed for Entrelac knitting. In class you will produce a small sample square. You will then be ready to tackle a pattern for a cowl and a scarf that you take away with you.

Skill Level
You need to be able to do both knit and purl stitch confidently to fully enjoy this workshop.

Equipment needed
Please bring a selection of needles to use on the practise piece (3.25, 3.5, 4, 4.5 & 5 would be a good selection)
