In this embroidery workshop, our tutor is textile artist Amy Butcher. Amy creates mixed media kits which she markets under the name Beaks and Bobbins. She uses her own best-selling kit, Clover Meadow, to teach you stitches, beading techniques and embellishments. This mixed media master class is for beginners and those who want to extend their embroidery repertoire. One of Amy’s illustrations is preprinted onto the fabric base but with your new skills, you will make it your own. There is also a backing sheet supplied so that you can finish your artwork ready to hang.

Access notice: there are two flights of stairs to the workroom in our medieval building at 32 Coppergate, York YO1 9NR. We sincerely apologise if this prevents anyone from attending.

Each participant receives a 10% after class discount voucher to put towards their next workshop.

You’re welcome to cancel your booking up to 14 days before the workshop date. If you need to cancel after that time, we’re unable to offer a refund or move your booking. However, we’d be happy to transfer your place to someone else of your choosing at no additional cost.
